Building Azimuth: A Workspace to Find Direction and Take Action

I’m excited to share more about the direction behind Azimuth and what the app is becoming.

Azimuth is being built as a private, local-first workspace for notes, planning, project organization, and AI-powered execution. The goal is simple: help people bring structure to complex work without forcing them into a rigid system. Whether you are managing a project, organizing research, planning a product, or just trying to keep your ideas connected, Azimuth is designed to give you a clear place to think, plan, and move forward.

At its core, Azimuth brings together notes, project planning, knowledge management through a similar UI to modern AI-centric platforms. Features like structured planning frameworks, project artifacts, knowledge bases, task organization, and local-first storage are all part of a larger vision: a workspace that helps you understand what matters, decide what comes next, and keep momentum.

I’m especially excited about the direction Azimuth is heading! There is still a lot more to come, including deeper project insights, improved AI workflows, better ways to connect documents and notes, and more tools for turning information into action.

Azimuth is still growing, but the mission is clear: help people find direction and deliver results.

Thank you to everyone following along. More updates are on the way.
